Lovely house in the centre of Grottazzolina, a charming hill town in Marche region, with a wonderful view from the Sibillini mountains to the sea.

The property is composed of 2 levels: First floor with a kitchen, a livingroom, a bathroom and a boxroom that could be used as laudry; the second floor with 2 rooms, a bathroom and a balcony.

The selling includes also a garden of 1500sqm.

Additional Information:

It seems to be certain that the Farfensi Monks founded the present Grottazzolina. Inside the walls, disappeared together with the Town Hall, there are traces of the ancient Palace Azzolino.

Outside the walls there was S.Giovanni Battista’s Romanesque Church. Westwards, on a ridge, the town built up between XVII and XIX century has linked up harmoniously with the ancient centre.

The present Town Hall, reviving last century typical style, stands out. A collection  of Sacred Art is inside, with Northern-European prints of great value dating back to XVI and XVII centuries.

Outside the village there is the “silk mill”: a true example of industrial archaeology linked with silkworm breeding, last century typical activity in most of the area.
