We\u2019ve already talked about houses for sale in Italy at \u20ac 1<\/a> and special taxation<\/a> on pensions and other foreign income for those relocating to the south of the boot-shaped country in order to revitalize certain areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now Molise \u2013 the second smallest and most underrated region of Italy \u2013 adopted a new scheme called \u2018Reddito di Residenza Attiva\u2019 for those interested in investing there to support towns with no more than 2,000 inhabitants, which are 107 out of 136, as stated in its official announcement (English version here)<\/a> published by Molise region on September 17th, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will get around \u20ac 700 a month, for three years for a maximum amount of \u20ac 24,000 overall divided into \u20ac 8,000 per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites to apply to \u2018Reddito di Residenza Attiva\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.<\/strong> Establish your residence there within 90 days from the communication of the acceptance of your request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.<\/strong> Start a business for at least 5 years. You can also move there your company \u2013 including your registered office, which is called sede legale<\/em>, which means that you pay taxes to that town in Molise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.<\/strong> Be an Italian citizen \u2013 also dual citizenship is ok \u2013 a European citizen or have a residence permit that allow you to stay in Italy for at least 5 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.<\/strong> Send your request through a certified email address (pec) to regionemolise@cert.regione.molise.it within November 30th, 2019 at 12 am Italian time. This must be the subject of your email: \u2018Avviso pubblico \u2013 Reddito di residenza attiva per l\u2019accesso al Fondo in favore di soggetti che vanno a risiedere nei comuni con popolazione fino a 2000 abitanti\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
