This elegant property was originally an Italian farmstead, a so-called “cascina“. It is in move-in conditions and was completely renovated in 2009 including electricity, plumbing, wiring, walls and roof using high quality materials with love and extreme attention to detail.
The exterior is decorated in Lombard/English style, with particular attention to the symmetry of the windows and corners.
At the entrance a large trompe-l'oeil painting showing the lake view visible from the villa welcomes owners and guests.

This home is set on three floors. The ground floor is composed of a veranda, a living room, a huge kitchen, a bathroom and a wine/food cellar. A fireplace in the living room and a wood stove in the veranda room contribute to the cosy atmosphere during winter.

The finishes and materials are precious, walls and ceilings have “marmorino” finish (a special hand made plaster less glossy than venetian plaster), the beams are hand-decorated by expert decorators and many details have been finished with pure gold leaf after a special treatment to preserve them.
