For work-related reasons and with very great regret we are selling the house where we spent the most beautiful holidays with our two children since they were born, until last summer, with them moving out as university students.
Parts of the house have a centuries-old history and they have been renovated by a local architect who preserved the most typical structures such as large stone walls, wooden beams and regional tile floors, adding wooden stairs and railings whilst adhering to the ancient plan and retaining comfort.
It is a 25 minutes drive from the sandy beaches of Senigallia (the velvet beach) or Fano, where you can spend long days at the peaceful beach with great food; in 10 minutes you can visit the walled citadels of Orciano and Mondavio, with the festivals of San Rocco and the conquest of La Rocca; on a quiet day you can strolley up the Apennines and visit the Frasassi caves, the Furlo gorge and the city of Urbino, with its Palazzo Ducale.
The house is comprised by two attached buildings with separate entrances and connected by a passageway (that could be closed to have two distinct apartments), with two small kitchens, two bathrooms, a large living room, three bedrooms (one large and two medium, all double) and an extra single bed area: all the rooms have windows.
The two buildings are of easy and cheap maintenance even if left for months without care, no problems, they are there since centuries!
The house is between a set of typical Italian hills, surrounded by the Metauro and Cesano valleys, and enjoys a peaceful view full of colors during the whole year, no matter the season.
