Villa 'La Favorita' is a historic residence built in 1852 by the ducal architect Pietro Marchelli in an eclectic style and is part of a splendid natural, historical and landscape scenery. It is located on a natural terrace overlooking the plain from which it dominates a splendid panorama that sweeps up to the Alps. The historic garden boasts ancient specimens and has a rural area of 32,000 square meters destined to permanent lawn for the production of the PARMIGIANO REGGIANO on which it insists an irrigation well. The complex consists of a main villa with antique finishes, two recently renovated units and a rural part where you can get two more units. The old stable has been recovered and can be used as a meeting room. The property includes an agricultural land of 10 biolche, adjacent to the complex. The area is renowned for its medieval castles: BIANELLO, ROSSENA, CANOSSA and TORRECHIARA which are home to historical events and re-enactments of national level. 'Villa Favorita' is easily reachable from the center of Reggio Emilia as well as from the cities of Modena and Parma, which is less than 30 km away.
