This oasis of peace is located about 8 km from Arezzo, on top of a small hill surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods. It is an antique farmhouse, where everything remained as it was centuries ago, except for floors in few rooms. The owner always took care of maintenance works and thanks to this the structure is in perfect state. There are really few farmhouses where all original elements have been maintained so well.
The building measures approximately 535 sq.m. on three buildings. There are five former stables on the ground floor (with original mangers), bread oven and a long corridor with a staircase in pietra serena stone leading to the first floor. Here, there are six rooms, kitchen with huge fire place and a bathroom. Another stone staircase leads to the top floor with a large room, which in the past most probably was used to keep pigeons. Crossings of arches in terracotta tiles above the staircase add more appeal to this tip level.
Apart from several arches, beautiful ceilings with beams, the rooms have floors in stone blocks, original terracotta tiles and a few only in graniglia. All windows and doors are in solid wood. Some have double glazing.
Obviously, the installations would need to be redone, including heating which at present does not exist. New bathrooms would also be required.  It should not be difficult to transform ground floor to habitable space. The height of 3.50 mt is sufficient to make the crawl space against humidity and still have the required 2.70 mt height.  Existence of the internal staircase already provides connection between both main levels.
Apart from the main house, the property includes also a former pigsty with attached barn (72 sq.m.) and a former chestnut drier (110 sq.m.) Both buildings can be transformed into habitable space.
The main house on two sides has a fantastic fence of Buxus about 2 metres high and cypress trees. There are also several fruit trees nearby.  The property has 5 hectares of Chianti vineyards, a little bit less than 1 hectare of olive groves, 3.5 hectares of arable land and about 8 ha of woods.
There is electricity, old water well and recently made artisan well on the premises.
Access is through two white roads. One of them leads through a group of farmhouses being presently restored up to the highest standards. This area will become pleasant also for the nice neighbourhood apart from beautiful views and quiet surroundings.
