In an enchanting and beautiful scenery, in a sunny position on a hill. equally distant from the Adriatic sea and the massif of mount Gran Sasso, rises Penne, SLOW city, where health of citizens, authenticity of its products and good cuisine, respect of traditions and joy of slow and quiet life are the priority. Since 1600 they said of Penne: "The city and its very fertile surroundings produces wheat, great wine, great abundance of oil, melons and a great variety of fruit. There are a lot of woods in the close mountains; water from fountains and generous rivers; fresh air; inhabitants are good and simple people".
For who wants to rediscover slow life, in the high and panoramic part of the historic centre, we have a villa in good state with garden and land with olives, with view on the mountains of Gran Sasso and Majella, on the sea and other important cities of art and culture like Atri.
The property is on two levels: on the ground floor we have an entrance, a wide open space destined for kitchen-dining room with fireplace, a bathroom and a storage room, moreover with independent accesses a cellar and a thermal power station; on the first floor to which is accessed by an internal and external staircase, we have an entrance, three master bedrooms, a bedroom and a bathroom. Through a trapdoor it's possible to reach the attic.
The property is completed by a garage, parking space and around 4.200 sq.m. of land partly used as garden, partly as orchard, with olive trees.
The city offers all the essencial servics, bar, restaurants where you can taste among all things arrosticini, pecorino cheese, cured meat, oil and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine, moreover, near the city there is the Riserva Naturale "Lago di Penne", natural gateway to the Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga.
The climate is great because it benefits from the effects from the sea (distant from the Adriatic sea around 20 km), but at the same time is influenced by the Gran Sasso D'Italia, whereby the medium temperatures are not excessively high nor too cold.
The village's architecture is characterised by the use of brick, present in all the buildings and in the remains of some floors, this gave Penne the title of "Brick City"
