State and finishes
The apartment needs complete renovation. It has, however, typical Tuscan features such as old wooden beams with terracotta tiles, now whitewashed. Other areas of the house over the years have been false ceilings, but given the historic nature of the property (once an old village church) it could bring to light during restoration such features as beamed ceilings and frescoes. Systems to be checked and updated to current standards, the heating one is with radiators fed by an oil boiler and aqueduct line for water supply. Present chimney to be able to insert fireplaces or period stoves. The apartment has some partitions that can be removed to create brighter and more modern rooms. The roof was redone in the 1990s.
