Description
"Our" castle has its origins dating back to the 17th century, built by one of the important families of the area, it was almost completely destroyed twice, until the current owner family bought little more than a ruin to bring it to its present condition that almost borders on perfection. Externally it retains its fortified appearance with its four towers strategically placed in the four corners, it is located in the center of the small town and stands majestically beside a small stream.
In the center of the castle a cloister gives light to the lower floors, and around this cloister on the ground floor are the restaurant that can seat up to 120 people indoors and 32 outside, bar room, relaxation area, reception and spa with sauna, emotional shower and massage room. On the second floor are 14 suites each with a private bathroom, some with a private sitting room, and some on multiple levels. Several rooms suitable for receptions, conferences, dancing evenings, a beautiful covered terrace from which you can admire the view towards the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
Outdoor spaces
In an unrivaled position overlooking the town and its surroundings, it is in turn discreetly protected by the Apennines. The stream that flows placidly beside it, gently caresses it and gives it a special charm, both in the winter and summer months, definitely cooler and more pleasant than the city months.
Condition and finishes
The complete renovation of the property that began in early 2000, took several years of continuous and painstaking work. The materials used, the furnishings chosen have made it a timeless object. The careful hands of craftsmen and the volcanic mind of the current owner have made the castle modern without distorting its original nature and structure.
