In the historic center of one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy, medieval village located in the center of Abruzzo and at the gates of the Majella National Park, 20 minutes both from the sea and the mountain, characterized by roads and houses in Majella stone, by good food and welcoming people we sell a property in the main street. The house is in fair condition and is disposed on two levels: on the ground floor we find the day area composed by entry, kitchen with fireplace, living room with balcony and bathroom; on the first floor, instead, we find the night area with two bedrooms, one with balcony. Adjoining there are two cellars on the basement floors: the first, of about 30 sqm, is accessible both by an internal hatch as well as the alley adjacent the dwelling; while the second, of about 10 sqm, is reachable only by an internal hatch in the previous cellar.
Currently for the heating there is only the fireplace in the kitchen and a gas fancoil in the living room, Near the house there is a small and comfortable parking space while approx. 300 mt away there is a bar. Abbateggio, defined as one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy, falls within the Majella National Park and is immersed in the purest and wildest nature, with scenic waterfalls in the Lejo valley, the paleolithic museum in the Giumentina valley, numerous festivities and cultural and popular traditions' representations, a very active village with welcoming inhabitants.
The village is at only 12 km from the motorway A25 and this allows to reach Rome in around 2 hours, 25 km from the airport of Pescara and the sea. At around 10 km there are the ski lifts of Passolanciano, where it is possible to ski while looking at the sea. In the village and close to it there are bars, pizzerias, restaurants, small shops with local farm produce, and a bank, within 15 minutes you can reach the shopping centers.
