Unfortunately, as often happens, after years the timber sector came into crisis and the trader no longer managed to pay the woodshed that hunted it.
The house was called "la vila" in local dialect as the most important house in the valley"
I have decided, I accept the assignment! So I take my Panda and I leave.
Arrival at the house through Fiumalbo: every time I come here I have to stop for a moment to admire the beauty of the village ... Continuing on my road: after 10 minutes by car I reach the hamlet.
A fountain welcomes me that throws a very fresh and pure spring water.
Marco is already on the front door waiting for me. Within and ... how wonderful, it was really worth it to come all the way here to see this beautiful house!
In short, the house is a charm, thinks there is a double living room, a kitchen and a dining room.
There is a very typical cellar with a roof used as a tavern and next door there is a room with a barbecue for grilling!
The whole dwelling area is very rich in particular details and Art Nouveau furnishings that the architect has collected during his travels and lots of stone details from a fine and care that moves me ...

Oh, I forgot, on the top floor there is an architect's studio with technical chart, Marco here has given the best of himself!

I forgot, all this is very close to Fiumalbo and Lake Santo Modenese.

The vila is done as follows:

Pievepelago and Fiumalbo are just a few minutes drive away and there is every bank service at the house of health bar shops the schools of all grades and not least the sports school with Ski college first school / sports of the Apennines.
Fiumalbo is a wonderful village all in stone already Orange Flag of the Touring Club Italian.
Passed Fiumalbo, just 15 minutes away there is Abetone with its ski slopes and immediately beyond the pass there is Tuscany and the province of Lucca and from there to the sea of Forte dei Marmi is a moment!

What to do and see in the area:
