The structure is located in the center of Salsomaggiore Terme, a town of about 20 thousand inhabitants in the Province of Parma.
Art Nouveau building dating back to the 1900s, consisting of 84 rooms divided into 6 levels above ground and one basement, the large stairway with wrought iron railing connects the various floors over the different lifts, complete the hotel a parking area and meeting rooms.
It was built in 1911 on a design by the architect Giuseppe Pantaleone Boni, the façade is full of concrete and iron ornamental motifs; the wrought irons, produced in the Milanese Veronesi workshops, were designed by the artist Alessandro Mazzucotelli who later worked at the Grand Hotel des Thermes and the Berzieri.
In the 1920s, at the back, a body was added with a function of dining room and externally decorated with pictorial friezes, putti and garlands.
The entrance hall was replaced in '54 by the current one; inside, a beautiful iron railing adorns the large staircase leading to the upper floors.
The hotel is equipped with internal spa treatments, recent renovations have brought it back to the ancient splendors.
Surrounded by the history of Salsomaggiore Terme, built at the beginning of the last century, it still retains the Art Nouveau style that is found in the large rooms and stately common areas, ideal for reading and for a relaxing break after a two steps in the center.
