Situated between Rome and Naples, this three-story house sits in the Aurunci hills overlooking the Ulysses Riviera along the Mediterranean coastline. It is located at the edge of the picturesque, medieval village of Castellonorato which features, among other attractions, one of the best little jazz bars in Italy. The bustling seaside towns of Scauri (6km), Formia (9km), and Gaeta (16km) are nearby, and visible from the property’s many balconies, as are the islands of Ponza and Ventotene. Further south, you can see Mount Vesuvius from the living room balcony on clear days.

The property, which is detached and surrounded by circa 0.25 acres of stepped gardens and terraces, has both a private gated driveway, with parking space for three cars at the bottom of the house, and a pedestrian gate at the top that leads to the historic part of the village.

Minturno-Scauri and Formia train stations can be reached by bus or car (circa 15 mins) and from either you can take a train to Rome (1 hour 30 mins) or Naples (1 hour). Buses to Formia run regularly (approximately every hour), and there is a bus stop 200 metres from the house. Lastly, from the port of Formia it is possible to take ferries to the beautiful Pontine islands, Ponza and Ventotene.
