Despite the rocky nature of the terrain, Baldoni managed to build a castle entirely constructed of hammered travertine stone.
Work began in 1925 with the construction of the foundations and the old cave used as a cellar.
The work was completed in the autumn of 1928 and transformed everything into a majestic work, the Castle and the Master's Villa.
