It originates in the 16th century as an “Open-arched Loggia” designed by Baldassarre Peruzzi, as a resting and shaded area for the guests of Prince Vicino Orsini, Prince of Bomarzo. It was originally the Garden of the Orsini Castle, jutting out under the Castle which can be visited. Although surrounded by a large park, of three hectares, with centuries-old trees and a large garden, the residence is within the medieval village of Bomarzo, at the foot of the Orsini Castle. It has six bedrooms with panoramic views, furnished with antique furniture, three complete bathrooms and one with wc and bidet.
