Sanremo is a relatively undiscovered and affordable gem, being about 25km from Menton on the French Riviera and just under 1 hours  drive to Nice airport . It is a nice mix of working town and tousim so it is lively all year round. There are lots of reasonably priced restaurants and bars open all year, also nice
places to walk in the medieval town, old port and seafront.  
In 10 minutes drive you can be up in the hills where there are many interesting villages to explore. 

The house is comprised of 166m2 and sits on 1674m2 of land and garden with a small private parking area. 
There are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchen/living rooms, store room and large attic. 
The house has its own hillside garden with orange , lemon and other fruit trees on four terraces plus an above ground swimming pool. 
The first terrace has flower beds and a vine covered pergola with panoramic views of the sea, port and the hillside behind. 
The two floors can be separated into two flats as there are two separate entrances and separate gas central heating. We keep the lower flat for family and friends but it could be rented out for holidays etc.
