The protagonist of the event is the population of Bianzano: entire families in period costume (about 170 participants), evoke life lived in the Middle Ages, proposing in the Living Pictures, ancient crafts almost disappeared, traditions and stories of past life, immersed in a surreal and imaginative atmosphere, in the most characteristic courtyards of the village embellished and decorated for the occasion. The highlight of the event is on Sunday afternoon during the wedding procession. More than 300 participants from Bianzano and various folk groups from all over Italy parade through the streets of the village, to the outside of the castle, where the ceremony of the donation of the mentioned castle by father Baldino is held. The castle is open throughout the year for guided tours. Half an hour away is the city of Bergamo, capital of culture with Brescia in 2023, with the celebrated Bergamo Alta, with the Venetian walls, a UNESCO heritage.. Milan Orio al Serio airport, third largest Italian airport in terms of number of passengers, is 30 minutes.. In summer and winter tourist attractions less than 1 hour: snow and ski slopes, Lake Iseo..
