In the Vignola area stands the small Romanesque church of S.Agata, the work of the “Comacini Masters”, recently restored and with valuable frescoes. Noteworthy are some villas (now private) which in the past also hosted personalities and artists, such as Villa Le Rose where Winston Churchill lived, Villa Passalacqua with its gardens or, again, Villa Salterio Erker home of the composer Vincenzo Bellini who was inspired by the waters of the Pizzallo to compose the aria “La Sonnambula”.
