Continuing your visit, you can discover the most picturesque corners of the town, such as Piazza Casartelli, overlooked by the Church of Santa Tecla. And Villa Zita park, with fountains, chapels, and panoramic viewpoints offering views of the town, the lake, and the mountains.
With a nice walk you can go in search of the avelli, ancient tombs dug into the erratic boulders left by glaciers, or of the Pietra Pendula, a true natural monument, which stands in Montepiatto.
Also evocative is the walk along the ancient Strada Regia, which connects Como to Bellagio on a route approximately 32 kilometers long, almost entirely pedestrian.
