The villa stands on the ruins of the ancient castle of the feudal lords of Sirtori, whose construction dates back to the 16th century. The complex is located in the town center, not far from the square of the parish church and the Town Hall, on the provincial road connecting Sirtori to Viganò, and consists of the main building used as a private residence, the gatehouse, rural buildings, stables, sheds and refitted barns, and the oratory of Our Lady of the Assumption, located outside the gated complex, on the opposite side of Via Giovanni Besana.

The main building underwent a number of transformations over the years, including, in 1890, the addition of the third floor to bring it in line with the main facade. The structure of the park, which opens onto the front of the property, has also remained substantially unchanged in most of its vegetation composition. The vast English garden features a lake with dock created in 1845 that was designed to solve the problem of water collection. The park includes 21 monumental trees, including sycamores, cedars, redwoods, limes, and a 52-m liriodendron tulipifera, one of the tallest trees in Italy.

Complementing the importance of this property is a large swimming pool built in the 1970s.
