La Chiesa di Santo Stefano is a luxury restored villa — combining the charm of a historic monastery (with its own private chapel) with the comfort of a modern country house with pool. Set among rolling hills in the heart of the Le Marche countryside, this beautiful building has been carefully renovated to preserve its character,  offering generous living spaces, a sense of seclusion, and quiet views in every direction.

La Chiesa di Santo Stefano has three large living rooms and two kitchens in the main house, plus a third kitchen in the annexe set within the grounds. There’s room to gather together — and just as easily, to step away into a quieter corner when you need it.

It’s an ideal home for extended family or large groups of friends, with plenty of potential for holiday rental, weddings or events. One third of the property is entirely self-contained, with two double bedrooms and en suite bathrooms — perfect for guests, or for those who wish to live on site while letting part of the house.

The main house offers seven elegant double bedrooms, each with its own en suite bath or shower room. A single bedroom is also available, with access to a private shower room on the ground floor.

The annexe is a spacious studio with ample room for a double bed, sitting and dining areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and an en suite shower room. Used by the current owners while the house was rented, it offers a private and flexible living space.

The villa sits within five acres of land, once shaped into a five-hole golf course by the current owners. The irrigation system remains in place, should someone want to restore the greens.

A large, irregular shaped swimming pool lies in the lower garden, with uninterrupted views across the rolling Le Marche countryside. Several smaller, terraced areas offer private spots for al fresco dining, and a wood-fired pizza oven built into the wall of the annexe is perfect for long, leisurely summer lunches.

The grounds include mature olive trees — more than enough to keep a family in oil for a year — along with a variety of fruit trees in a small orchard.

The restored chapel is perfect for small, intimate weddings or celebrations for up to fifty guests, and our lush grounds create an enchanting backdrop for weddings, anniversaries, and special gatherings - enjoy delicious antipasti on the picturesque pool terrace, followed by a stunning Italian wedding feast under the gazebo.
