A unique chance to complete a farmhouse renovation project in the core of Piemonte and near the popular and lively village of Costigliole d’Asti. The project is nestled among a small group of houses at the top of a hill and in vicinity to the town of Costigliole d’Asti.

Originally this was an old farmhouse which has now been totally demolished, and a new app. 300 sq.mt. farmhouse build in its place. Only the century old double vaulted cantina has been retained and will form an integral part of the new project.

Initially the ground floor of the project was intended to have a very large kitchen / dining / living room with direct access to a terrace with magnificent views. Also, on the ground floor a large en-suite bedroom, washroom and a technical room. The classic old cantina would be accessible from this ground floor.

On the first floor the idea was to create 4-5 large sunlit bedrooms, some with walk in cupboards, as well as two large bathrooms. One bedroom would have access to a private first floor terrace.
However, the design is really a blank canvas as you still have time to design and fit out the house to your requirements, taste and with focus on materials to your liking.

Currently the foundation, fully insulated exterior walls as well as roof have been completed leaving all the interior design / build to be completed. The construction to date has been executed by a reputable local builder and overseen by a experienced geometra, providing confidence in the quality of the completed shell. The current builder would be available and willing to continue the build at short notice.

Continuing an existing project offers numerous advantages: 1) elimination of bureaucracy as all necessary planning permissions are in place, saving you stress, time and costs allowing you time to proceed directly to the fit-out phase. 2) the visible foundations, walls, and roof give you the possibility to inspect the quality of the build and assure yourself that the structure is sound, weather-tight, and energy-efficient. 3) with the highest-risk phase of construction completed you also avoid financial risks.

The views from the land are stunning and on the app. 3,000 sq.mt. of land, there will be space for parking for a couple of cars as well as swimming pool, terraces and an outdoor kitchen /BBQ area.

Water and electricity are already available on site. Future drainage will, as always with these old farmhouses, be via a septic tank. Fast internet is available in the area.
