The origin of this valley’s name, Vallingauna, refers to the ancient Ligurian population that inhabited it, the Ingauni, who have been confined to this valley of the Rea stream by the Romans. It now gives the name to the country property set in the vicinity of Murazzano in the High Langhe.
Driving a few hundred meters on a paved road lined by impressive lime trees, one reaches the country estate.
