The Langhe area has always been intertwined with culture and food and wine production. It is renowned throughout the world for the production of fine wines such as Barolo, Barbera, Barberesco, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo.
In the gastronomy, very rich and varied, the truffle stands out: Alba, the most important urban center of the Langhe, is considered the capital of truffles, to which a special fair is dedicated every year in October.
