20 minutes drive away is the main town of Mondovi, a historic town with a bustling market every Saturday and a smaller one on Tuesday mornings.   This is where we buy all our fresh fruit, vegetables, cheeses etc.

In the next village of San Michele is a Spar grocery store (La Bicocca) for everything you need including an excellent butcher.

To the left is the village of Vicoforte, which has the famous church, Santuario di Vicoforte, with the largest elliptical cupola in the world.  This stunning church dates back to 1596.
