The Marina di Andrano, extended for about 3 km of coast (mainly cliffs) on the Adriatic side of the Salento peninsula, includes the area called "Torre" and the area called "Botte". The two areas are connected by the "Lungomare delle Agavi", a path close to the sea, designed in the early 1980s and inaugurated in June 2001 and so named for the numerous agave plants present along its entire route.
