We are pleased to present, for exclusive use, the sale of Palazzo Tiso, a prestigious historic building, whose embryonic state at architectural level can probably date back to historical sources, at the beginning of the 1600s.
The original nucleus of the building, located in Via degli Antoglietta in Lecce, was purchased in 1699 by Domenico Tiso, father of the future painter. The first nucleus of the houses was that at the garage of the Palazzo di Saverio Bozzi Corso, which is the right end of the current Tiso Palace, at the door, which coincides with the oldest part of the building.
From the Cadastre Oncario di Lecce (midst the eighteenth century) we know that the building inhabited by the Tiso was on two levels and at the lower level there were garages. The most important representative of the Tiso family was Oronzo who became the most equipped and important painter of the 700s Salento area. This in 1780 he purchased all the houses that were bordered by the paternal goods up to the current Court of Chiaromonte and, set up the new entrance with a now neoclassic flavor in axis with the current Via Oronzo Tiso, made a large two-storey residence with a theory of six openings on the first floor plus others overlooking the courtyard. In the corner he wanted a pillar surmounted by the family emblem which is one of the largest and most beautiful that can still be preserved in Lecce. The Palace is still today as one of the most formally completed eighteenth-century buildings of Lecce and its original configuration has almost unchanged until our days.

Palazzo Tiso - ground floor, first floor, panoramic terrace and wonderful hanging garden - has been completely renovated.
An elegant entrance hall with access to the ground floor, of about 400 square meters. The first floor, about 700 square meters, has a characteristic iron / glass structure. A wonderful hanging garden of about 260 square meters, offers a unique and picturesque view of the entire historic center. Complete the property a large terrace of about 450 square meters.
