Description
The property covers about 10,000 square meters, divided into well-defined areas: more than 6,000 square meters are dedicated to the modern and spacious winery, about 1,400 square meters to the elegant dwellings, 370 square meters to the characteristic agritourism, and the rest is for practical storage. The estate covers an area of 254 hectares, of which 113 hectares are planted with vines. Situated on hills with an average altitude of 250-350 meters above sea level, it is only 10 km from the sea. The soil, rich in limestone and shells, favors optimal vine growth. Cultivation is low spurred cordon, with a density of 5,000 vines per hectare, each producing an average of 1.2-1.4 kg of grapes. The main grape variety is Nero d'Avola, a symbol of Sicilian winemaking tradition, flanked by Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Grillo and Inzolia.
Outdoor spaces
The vineyards benefit from an ideal microclimate, characterized by a high number of hours of sunshine and the positive influence of sea breezes and the proximity of Mount Dessueri. An auxiliary irrigation system ensures lush foliage, ensuring the perfect ripening of the grapes. Sicily, rich in history, art and traditions, offers a unique landscape with alternating hills, plains, Caribbean beaches and crystal clear sea.

The estate's new winery, measuring 6,234 square meters, represents a perfect blend of tradition, modernism and efficiency. The grapes are transformed into wine of the highest quality thanks to the sensitivity and experience of the winemakers, and rest in precious 30-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels and 350-liter French oak barrels. The ancient Baglio, the fortified manor house, has been completely restored with great attention to the original structures, and its ochre colors blend suggestively with the Sicilian landscape.
