It's a hot August day, and the sun is already shining high over Trento when I hop on my bike. The morning air is still pleasantly cool, and the city's quiet streets seem to gently lead me toward a little adventure. The final destination is a special house in Ischia, a quiet hamlet of Pergine Valsugana. But first, a regenerating stop is a must: Lake Caldonazzo.

After a swim and a short break, I resume my journey. The road climbs a bit, but the view that opens up as I approach Ischia is worth every effort. And there it is, the house, a small, recently constructed building.
