Frascole, a hamlet of Dicomano, is renowned for its archaeological area of San Martino a Poggio. Here you can find significant remains from the Etruscan and Roman periods, including the foundations of a Romanesque church and an imposing quadrangular building, probably a defensive structure or a temple. The finds are exhibited in the Comprensorial Archaeological Museum of Mugello and the Sieve Valley, located in the town hall of Dicomano.
