In the heart of the famous Chianti Classico area, in hilly and panoramic position, is located this organic winery with 20 hectares of land, wine cellar and farmhouse with annex used as B&B.
The property consists of a restored farmhouse, built in the 15th century, of about 400 sqm on two levels. From the external courtyard you enter in the living area with bright reception area, a large kitchen, a second living area and an office. The first floor consists of 5 double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Outside the house there is the original oven as well as a large outdoor terrace with wide views onto vineyards, olive groves and woods and a wine tasting room with kitchen and bathroom.
At a short distance from the main building there is an annex of approx. 160 sqm divided into two separate apartments. Each unit has an independent entrance and consists of living room, kitchen, two double bedrooms and bathroom as well as a panoramic garden with pergola.
The buildings have been restored with the original materials like the local stone, terracotta floors and wooden beams without sacrificing comfort and modern facilities.
The farm is surrounded by 11 ha Chianti Classico DOCG and 0,5 ha IGT vineyard and approx. 10 ha of woods. The grapes are produced in accordance with the organic viticulture rules. The current productions are Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva and Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione.
The current production is 73.000 bottles yearly.
