All around are wonderful views of the surrounding hills without the house being up those hills.  One can even see the back of Monte Tre Potenze where the ski resort of Abetone is located about an hour's drive away.
There is a grocery store, bars, pizzeria all in the village but also Fornaci di Barga where the train station is.  This area is particularly attractive for people wishing to live in our area all year round.
