This Villa Liberty is a classic home from the beginning of the last century featuring original Tessieri Floors, Central Heating and original doors.  The windows are large and are double glazed.  Many of the rooms are dual aspect which is a classic feature of home from this period.   The property also offers beautiful high ceilings.
The kitchen is an eat-in kitchen, currently with a bathroom off it.  Across the hall is the sitting room.  There is also a storage room under the stairs on this ground floor.  Up the stone stairs, there are two double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. 
Many of the rooms are dual aspect and enjoy wonderful views of the Appenines.  One can even judge the amount of snow at the ski resort of Abetone but just looking up at the hills.
The roof has the waterproof layering and has always has been maintained.
Attached to the house is a stone outhouse which is divided into 2 rooms.  Underneath the house is a cantina.  In front of the house is a wide terrace and across the stairs there is the fenced garden.
There is a grocery store, "circolo" and a bar within walking distance.  This is a great house for people who don't want to climb up winding roads and yet want great views.  There are indigenous noises.
The village is considered the gateway to the Garfagnana National Park which offers a wealth of adventure and excitement all year round.  In the Summer, each village has a festival.  Gallicano has a live-music festival called "Pane e Le Rose" which features local tribute and original bands.
