Located in a beautiful, area in the heart of the Chianti region, Podere Le Rose is just a few hundred meters from the famous Brolio Castle. The surrounding countryside is an extraordinary blend of nature and history.
Podere Le Rose is a magnificent farmhouse, located in the Municipality of Gaiole in Chianti, with agricultural annexes and land, completely in stone: the actual owner carefully restored and renovated it, bringing it back to new life.
An impressive entry gate adorned with beautiful Clair Matin climbing roses welcomes you to Podere Le Rose. The property consists of a Main Building, on two levels, ground floor and first floor, annexes, swimming pool, garden, agricultural land, and wood.
The building dates to the late nineteenth century. It was built with construction methods of the time, featuring exposed stone masonry. It rests on a rocky spur. In 2010, the roof of the entire building was completely renovated, adequately insulated, and built in compliance with anti-seismic regulations.
The square-plan house opens into an entrance hall with a barrel vault ceiling and an historic paved floor from original stone stairs that lead to the 4 bedrooms on the first floor. All bedrooms have ceilings with chestnut beams and joists and terracotta tiles. They also feature private well-furnished bathrooms.  Each bedroom was decorated by reproducing past methods of painting.
The current master bedroom is large in size, with a large bathroom with separate tub and shower, original terracotta floor, walk-in closet, hallway entrance and small laundry.
From the first floor a short flight of wooden stairs leads to an attic storage room.
On the ground floor an old cellar with a cross vault has been transformed into a splendid kitchen, adjacent is a pantry room and a technological and laundry room. Also on the ground floor is a large room now used as a bedroom with an attached bathroom, and a living room with a fireplace and a terracotta floor. The living room connects to the kitchen. Both rooms have structural vaulted ceilings in use at the time in the area.
Outside the square plan, but connecting to the living room, is a large room once used as a barn. It has been expertly restored and, overlooks the ancient farmyard through a large glass door. The great room has a Chianti style ceiling with chestnut wood beams and terracotta tiles.
Externally a partially paved courtyard features a large pergola covered with strawberry grapes and roses. On one corner there is a small tool shed. Bordering the farmyard there is another structure (approximately 19.50 sqm.)  used as a greenhouse. It was obtained from an ancient pigsty and its roof partially houses 4 solar panels which contribute substantially to the heating of the water in the bathrooms in the summer.
The restoration was characterized by great respect of the past. The stones and all the original materials have been preserved and enhanced.
The owners' passion for roses has led them to create a rose garden that houses over 250 plants, many are ancient, botanical, English and other roses, that border the paths and lead to the pool, as well as to the large greenhouse where the most delicate plants are sheltered in winter.
The 10 x 5 meter swimming pool, built in 2013, is surrounded by a beautiful green lawn and has two infinity sides overlooking the wood and the olive grove of Podere Le Rose. The swimming pool is illuminated inside as well as the exterior area and the rose garden. On both ends of the pool area, two large, covered pergolas surrounded by roses allow you to find refreshment from the sun that heats the pool all day.
The surrounding land is partly intended for olive groves, orchards and vegetable gardens and the rest for woods.
