Halfway between Siena and Florence, is located this winery with a medieval hamlet and 132 hectares of land of which 33 hectares of vineyards (15.2 hectares of Chianti Classico DOCG and 18.1 hectares of IGT), 4 hectares of olive grove, arable land and woods.
The hamlet consists of a main villa (approx. 1.300 sqm) for residential use with owners apartment and two apartments for holiday rentals, an impressive wine cellar (approx. 2.200 sqm) and various other buildings (approx. 1.920 sqm) including the quarters for the caretaker, offices, tasting rooms, various warehouses and rural spaces.
The annual production measures 1500 quintals of grapes which are transformed into 75,000 bottles of wine. 45 hectares of arable land offer the possibility of planting further vineyards and to increase the overall production up to 400,000 bottles per year. The wines (Chianti Classico Annata DOCG, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, IGT Super Tuscan, IGT Rosso Toscano, IGT Cabernet Sauvignon, IGT Bianco Toscano, Vinsanto and grappa) are produced exclusively with grapes coming from the property's own vineyards, distributed and appreciated all over the world.
Furthermore, the farm produces an excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil of about 3.000 bottles (0,5 lt) yearly.
The estate is certified for its organic agriculture since 2012, a choice that combines quality and sustainability.
