Avigliano Umbro is a small but charming village in the heart of Umbria. Surrounded by fascinating wooded landscapes, it remains a half to visit especially in summer. Particularly in the surroundings of Avigliano Umbro, there are several charming places such as the historic center, where the medieval cylindrical tower stands out, accessed from Porta Vecchia, which still preserves the coat of arms of the municipality of Todi. Worth seeing are the small Art Nouveau-style Municipal Theater, the Church of the Holy Trinity, which houses a Madonna of the Rosary by Andrea Polinori and frescoes attributed to Bartolomeo Barbiani da Montepulciano. Nearby, in Sismano, is the Medieval Castle and the Church of Sant'Andrea Corsini with paintings attributed to Polinori. Another center of artistic interest is Toscolano, with the Chapel of the Mestà. In the village of Santa Restituta is Grotta Bella, a large chamber with stalactitic and stalagmitic concretions. In Dunarobba is visit the Renaissance Fortress and especially the Fossil Forest.
