Villa Bracchia is located near the old spa town of Fontana Liri in a rural area but with excellent access to the provincial roads linking the attractive towns of Fontana Liri, Arpino and Isola del Liri   Arranged on three levels, this  villa under construction of approximately 330 square meters could be completed to provide either two semi-detached homes or alternatively one large and spacious property. 

The structure consists of a basement level with garage and cellar, a ground floor and an attic floor. At the current state of the works, the villa does not yet have external fixtures and systems, but the project plans envisage that the ground floor (reachable both by the internal stairs from the basement and by means of a additional external staircase) is to be used as a living area, while the attic floor is intended to become a sleeping area with a hallway, a bathroom and four bedrooms. 

Villa Bracchia is surrounded by greenery, and set in a plot of land of approximately 200 square meters. Shops, services, restaurants and cafés are only a few minutes drive and both the centre of Rome and Rome’s airports ca be reached in only 90 minutes.

FONTANA LIRI, ARPINO AND THE CIOCIARIA

Fontana Liri is an old spa town, once famous for its hot springs. The even older part, a cluster of stone houses on the hill above, known as Fontana Liri Superiore, is noted for the many concerts it hosts throughout the year.

Arpino is one of the major medieval hilltop towns in the area of Italy called the Ciociaria, the name given to the fertile land that lies south of Rome but north of Naples, situated inland in the hills in the heart of Italy.

The Ciociaria region is within easy reach of both Rome and Naples and their respective airports. A day's shopping in Rome is a common pastime, while an even shorter drive brings you to the charming beaches south of Rome. Alternatively, drive east, and the mountains of the Abruzzo National Park await with horse trekking in the magnificent beech forests, and sparkling mountain lakes and rivers where you can swim in the heat of the summer. And at the other extreme of temperature, although Fontana Liri itself is temperate, less than an hour's drive brings you to the winter ski slopes.

Often overlooked, both by tourists and by those foreigners in search of an Italian home, in favour of the more publicised regions of Tuscany and Umbria, the Ciociaria remains largely an unspoilt gem with beautiful scenery and medieval hilltop towns.
