The home is only a few minutes walk from the huge iconic waterfall of Isola Del Liri, a unique feature to find within a town centre.  Isola Del Liri is built on the convergence of two small rivers and the Main Street of Isola is (as the name implies) actually on an island accessed by two stone bridges over the rivers.  Isola Del Liri is a buzzy town with numerous little bars, cafés and restaurants, just off the island are large supermarkets, many other shops and all necessary services.  There is excellent road access and the centre of Rome is less than a 90 minute drive, as is Rome's principal airport; Rome’s second airport is less than an hour away.  There is public transport by rail, bus and luxury coach.

Isola del Liri is one of the major medieval towns in the area of Italy called the Ciociaria, the name given to the fertile land that lies south of Rome but north of Naples, situated inland in the hills in the heart of Italy. The historic centre of Isola del Liri is actually on an island formed by the convergence of two rivers with a spectacular waterfall forming the focal point of the old town and is twinned with New Orleans.

The Ciociaria region is within easy reach of both Rome and Naples and their respective airports.
