This corner of the island offers the possibility to completely disconnect from modern life. It has a private water supply from both a well and a nearby spring and it would be very possible to install solar panels to give you energy independence too. The olive grove contains about 250 mature trees, and there is also a huge array of fruit trees and more than enough space to grow your own vegetables.

It's an area where a car is essential, but the town of Mistretta is only twenty minutes' drive up the road. To the north is Santo Stefano di Camastra, and there are plenty of wonderful beaches within an hour's radius, none more spectacular than the golden sandy seafront of Cefalù to the west. With the green slopes of Sicily's largest natural park to explore above you and the pristine waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea below, it's a magnificent spot for lovers of the great outdoors.
