The buildings
The main building was the most important one in the time when the property was still just a farm. It's shape and architectural characteristics are clearly those of a so-called casa padronale. Over time the owners mixed in details or their own style and taste, thus creating a clever and eclectic mixture of medieval, liberty and contemporary.

The ground floor harbours a large kitchen with stained glass doors on both sides, giving access to the garden and courtyard. There is also a sitting room with an impressive ancient stone fireplace, a dining room and a very spacious bathroom. Up the beautiful wooden stairs are 4 bedrooms with comfortable ensuite bathrooms. Three of them have access to balconies that offer wonderful views of the surrounding hills.

The dependance (90 sqm) is an independent which sits opposite of the main house. This unit consists of a living and kitchen on the ground floor, two bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. To renovate
The other buildings are divided between 2 independent ones and a line up of what once was a little street. The separate ones are a little two story tower like structures which is in fairly decent shape. Of the other building, a much larger farmhouse the roof has collapsed and it will need a full renovation.

The ground floor of the long stretch of buildings offers the former stables at the ground floor and even an old bread oven has remained. The first floors have been partially structurally renovated. These spaces offer enormous potential as accommodation, shop or meeting spaces, or for example even a spa. It all depends on the project of a future owner, all options are open!

The land
With the property are included 12 ha of land. The surface is divided between woodland and farmland which is currently in use as such.

Surroundings
The medieval city of Assisi, birthplace of St. Francis, founder of the homonymous Religious Order of the Franciscans was added to the UNESCO World Heritage in the year 2000. It is italy's most famous pilgrimage city and good for about 2 million visitors each year. Though that may sound crowded the area is as quiet and serene as can be. Nature rules, little villages are littered across the countryside.

Many other fascinating cities are nearby. The bustling student town Perugia, host of the Umbria Jazz Festival lies at 40 km distance. The international airport is even closer at 21 km. Also nearby are the picturesque towns Spello 20 km, lovely Trevi 37 km and Spoleto 53 km renowned for the International Music Festival. Vineyards are present in abundance in the Bevagna and Montefalco area.
