Umbertide is the nearest little town (16 km), with a quaint center and known for its farmer's market. The famous Antognolla golf course lies at an easy 17 km distance. Other nearby beautiful towns are Gubbio with a stunning medieval center, Città di Castello and of course Perugia (19 km). The latter is the ancient capital of Umbria of Etruscan origins and nowadays a bustling student town. The nearest international airport is near Perugia, at 25 km distance.
