‘Gate-away.com Agency Awards’ is an initiative that we have created to celebrate our 15 years this year 2023.
This is a way to tell the story of the portal so far through our values. Over the years the company has been promoting a new way of working and doing business since it was born in 2008 till becoming one of the favourite channels for international buyers looking for a property in Italy but also for Italian estate agencies and property owners.
The company has introduced flexible work policies which offer employees the benefit of working outside of the traditional 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. schedule to better accommodate an employee’s commitments out of work. Gate-away.com has also invested in the employees’ soft skills, emotional leadership and empathy to improve motivation, cooperation and creativity.
At Gate-away.com profit is nothing but the fruit of corporate welfare, which is constantly monitored to give a sense of belonging to the team.
“This year we have thought of rewarding also ten estate agencies advertising on our portal,” comments Annalisa Angellotti, Gate-away.com co-founder “These estate agencies represent our values and over the years they have proven to be aligned to our brand in different ways.”

Each agent who has been awarded has received a personalised box representing the care and attention that Gate-away.com usually dedicates to its clients in general.
The box includes a selection of local products that are ideal to create a moment of wellbeing at work with colleagues:
- Tea and herbal teas from La via del Tè, a sustainable company that made the pioneering choice to bring tea production to Italy, specifically Tuscany.
- Biscuits from Frolla – il microbiscottificio, a local bakery that produces homemade biscuits using only top-quality ingredients from the local territory. It also empowers young people with disabilities by employing in the bakery and allowing them to learn new skillsets.
- A personalised notepad with motivational phrases from the Gate-away.com style.
- Box and mug hand-painted by a local artist.
The Gate-away.com Agency Awards Ceremony
Gate-away.com has also planned a ceremony will take place on May 26 in San Benedetto del Tronto which is our HQ. Winners, coming from all over Italy, have been invited and will receive a portrait created by a local artist.
