Reaching Italy’s scenic Le Marche region is set to become more accessible for tourists, overseas house hunters, and property owners, as a result of newly launched flight routes. Did you know that?

You’ll be able to fly with Aeroitalia, the Italy-based airline, from Ancona-Falconara’s Raffaello Sanzio airport to three new destinations: Barcelona, Bucharest, Vienna and Amsterdam. Average fares will start at around 70 euros.

When the new flights start: timetables

It will be possible to fly to Barcelona, Bucharest and Vienna from September 15.

Ancona-Barcelona: the route will operate on Mondays and Fridays with flights from Ancona starting at 11am with arrival at 1.50pm. Departures from Barcelona are on Mondays and Fridays at 2.30 pm and arrive in Ancona at 5.10 p.m. 

Ancona-Bucharest (Baneasa): on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays flights leave from Ancona at 11.10 am and reach Bucharest at 2.55 pm while departures from Romania are scheduled on the same days at 3.35 pm with arrival to Ancona at 5.20 pm. 

Ancona-Vienna: departures will be on Wednesdays and Sundays from Ancona at 11.10 am and arrival in Vienna at 12.50 pm. From Vienna the flight will depart the same days at 1.30 pm with arrival in Ancona at 3.10 pm.

Fights to and from Amsterdam will be launched by the end of 2023.

This is expected to provide a significant boost to the popularity and accessibility of the Le Marche region, which is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, rich cultural heritage, pristine beaches, and great real estate opportunities. 

Tourists seeking to soak up the Italian sun and immerse themselves in authentic Italian culture will find the area to be a treasure trove of artisanal gastronomy, vibrant local markets, historic towns, and stunning Adriatic coastline.
